I know one thing for sure, I am glad Tom is still writing. The rest is pretty much left up in the air, feared, and every day new reports of more US horrors, domestic and international. I was born here, but lived for many years in Latin America. I wrote a book that was published in 2007 entitled “We the People: The US dilemma and he world.” In it I referred to the US truly becoming a “banana republic” during the GW Bush administration. It was bad then, it is even worse now, But it reflects 250 years of conflict, war, the annihilation of 95% of the indigenous population by 1895 and centuries of slavery. What could we truly expect of the US and its imperial designs? Although I, too, was buried in imperial propaganda. This is the true lifeblood of the US—nothing to celebrate for sure.

We're neither conquering nor ruling, Tom, but we sure are dividing each other. Next up: cage fights on the White House lawn! Maybe Trump can "win" at that.
